Dr. Eric Gowing is a board-certified rheumatologist who attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Following medical school, Dr. Gowing completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Dr. Gowing sees and treats a wide range of rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, fibromyalgia, gout, osteoarthritis and takes a special interest in osteoporosis.

The best part of Dr. Gowing’s job is building connections and relationships with his patients. Developing a long history with his patients allows him to not only understand his patients better, but also their unique conditions.

In his free time, Dr. Gowing enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing music, golfing, traveling, and reading – specifically nonfiction historical books.
