Walker Flannery MD
Orthopedic Surgeon / Owner
After growing up in northern Wisconsin, Dr. Flannery earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a major in biology from UW-Eau Claire. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. During this time he received certification of completing the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) program. This training focused on injuries and conditions specific to patients in a rural setting, including care of farm injuries and those from other outdoor hazards.
Dr. Flannery completed his orthopedic residency training program at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. His areas of interest include hip, knee, and shoulder conditions and procedures including anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, shoulder replacement, navigation assisted total hip arthroplasty, and robotic total knee arthroplasty. In addition, Dr. Flannery cares for sports injuries, fractures, and hand conditions.
He and his wife, who works as a pediatrician in the area, have four children. Â Together they enjoy sports, the outdoors, and being active in the community.
I have a passion to provide the highest quality orthopedic care to the community where I live. I work alongside my patients, as a team, to make the best care decisions for their lifestyle. The pursuit of excellence with attention to detail will keep my patients healthy and active, which I find most rewarding.
