Steven Schechinger MD
Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Schechinger received both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. Following residency, Dr. Schechinger completed his sports medicine fellowship training in Lake Tahoe, California. Dr. Schechinger is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and joined OSMS in 2010.
Treating the entire scope of orthopedic and sports medicine conditions, Dr. Schechinger treats patients of all ages. Conditions that Dr. Schechinger attends to includes total hip replacements, robotic assisted total knee arthroplasty, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repairs, fracture care, and sports-related injuries, among others.
Dr. Schechinger and his wife Jackie, a Green Bay native, have four children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid hunter and fisherman.
