Carissa Ranieri, APNP, RN-BC is currently seeing patients in

Carissa Ranieri, a Wisconsin native, obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Carissa always knew she wanted to work in the medical field and help people in a positive way. Carissa has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2011, working in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine since 2014. Carissa believes the best part of her job is the variety it offers when caring for patients. She enjoys helping patients achieve improved quality of life by explaining their diagnosis, discussing treatment options, helping to coordinate care, performing injections and assisting in surgery. Assisting in surgery allows Carissa to understand each patient’s individual case. Carissa has been working with Dr. Peter Eggert since 2020.

In her free time, Carissa loves spending time with her family and friends.

“I want to develop a relationship with my patients where they feel heard and understood, leading them to feel at ease and comfortable to express their concerns to me. From there, I educate my patients in a way that empowers them to make the best decision for their orthopedic or sports medicine care.”
