An Oshkosh native, Dr. Jack (John) Leschke is a dual board-certified spine surgeon having completed training in both Neurosurgery and Neurology. He received his medical degree and completed his residency in Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin followed by a residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Leschke has a specialized interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and treats a wide variety of neurological conditions of the spine including neck and back pain, spinal fractures, spinal tumors, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative spine disease, spinal arthritis, pinched nerves, sciatica, and more. Some of the treatments and procedures he performs for these conditions include cervical, thoracic and lumbar diskectomy, laminectomy, spinal decompression, posterior fusion, interbody fusion, artificial disk replacement, robotic assisted spine surgery and more.

Dr. Leschke says that the best part of his job is not only taking care of his patients and restoring their quality of life, but also being able to continuously learn the landscape of spine surgery as it evolves, improving himself for his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Leschke enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys music in all forms, playing the piano and guitar, spending time outside or playing sports like tennis and golf.
