Jamie Killian received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alverno College and completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Millikin University. With a strong interest in autonomy and utilization of critical thinking, Jamie chose a career in advanced practice nursing. She wanted to take her knowledge of anesthesia to effectively care for patients undergoing surgery. To Jamie, the best part of her job is working with her anesthesia team and serving as a patient advocate during her patient’s most vulnerable moments.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and being active by running, hiking, and doing yoga.
