Dr. Lee Hash earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Hash provides specialized orthopedic care, with a special interest in sports-related injuries, joint replacement, and fracture care. With over 30 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hash’s approach to care is to look at the whole picture and develop the best solution for long-term mobility and wellness. It is important to him to examine all the options and share them with his patients so they are part of the decision-making and treatment plan process. Dr. Hash feels the best part of his job is to help people feel better and live their lives to the fullest.
An Air Force veteran, Dr. Hash likes to spend time with his wife and children, travel, ski, camp, and attend the theater and concerts.
My goal is to help my patients be as physically active as they would like. So, I weigh all the options, communicate them to my patients, and together, we come up with a treatment plan that best suits the situation and patient in the short-term, and will create the best results in the long run.
