From Fond du Lac, Megan Herkstroeter obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and returned to Fond du Lac to complete her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Marian University. Growing up playing sports, and personally experiencing an orthopedic related injury herself, Megan knew that a career in sports medicine was for her. Megan strives to work interpersonally with her patients to develop a plan and keep them informed and involved in their treatment process. To Megan, the best part of her job is developing meaningful relationships with her patients, watching them reach the outcomes they set to achieve.

In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, working out, and cooking and baking healthy foods. Megan is passionate about health and nutrition and is certified as a nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
