A Wausau native, Dr. Michael Parman received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati. During his time at the New England Baptist Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine, Dr. Parman was able to provide medical care for the Boston Celtics and Harvard University Athletes. Dr. Parman treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions and procedures in all ages including sports injuries, work injuries, knee and shoulder replacement, as well as joint preservation procedures.

Dr. Parman believes the best part of his job is working together with his patients as a team to formulate a personalized treatment plan for them. He enjoys hearing his patients’ stories, as they are all different.

In his free time, Dr. Parman relishes in friendly competition through a game of golf or pickleball. Additionally, he and his wife enjoy being outdoors together, staying active, and going on long walks.
