Dr. Nicole Kieffer was born and raised in Freedom, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse for her undergraduate studies and received her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago and her rheumatology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

Dr. Kieffer is a board-certified rheumatologist treating a variety of rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, peripheral and axial spondylarthritis, reactive arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease associated arthritis, gout, pseudogout/chondrocalcinosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue disease, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, temporal arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, and osteoporosis, among others. Dr. Kieffer is committed to continuous learning and staying up to date on the latest advancements in rheumatology to provide the most contemporary care for her patients.

Dr. Kieffer finds it immensely fulfilling to help improve her patients’ quality of life by diagnosing and managing their conditions effectively.

Outside of her busy professional life, Dr. Kieffer enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, cooking, and skiing. She also values spending quality time with her family, which remains a central part of her life.
