A New London, WI native, Dr. Ryan Ziegler received his medical degree from Des Moines University- College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Western Reserve Hospital in Northeast Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Ziegler completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. During his training, he had the opportunity to work with professional sports teams including the Cincinnati Bengals (NFL) and FC Cincinnati (MLS). Dr. Ryan Ziegler is a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who sees a wide variety of orthopedic conditions in patients and athletes of all ages. He specializes in arthroscopic procedures and performs joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Common issues he sees include ligament/tendon tears, meniscus and cartilage injuries, fractures, and arthritis.

Dr. Ziegler believes that the best part of his job is working with patients, as a team, to help them achieve their goals. He collaborates with his patients, making sure they are heard throughout every step of the decision-making process.

In his free time, Dr. Ziegler enjoys staying active in various ways such as hiking, running, cycling, skiing, and golfing. He also loves spending time with his friends and family and traveling out West.
