Frequently Asked Questions
We know health care can be confusing and we want to make sure you’re as informed as possible. We’ve compiled some of the questions (and answers) we often get from patients below. If you still have any questions, please reach out to us at (920) 430-8113.
In many cases, you do not need a referral, however, it is always best to contact your insurance prior to being seen to verify if a referral is needed. Or, call our clinic and talk to one of our patient advocates to find out, 920-430-8113.
If your primary care provider refers you to another orthopedic or rheumatologic provider, know that you can still come to OSMS. Just tell your referring doctor you want to be seen at OSMS.
We want to empower our patients and make sure you know you’re able to choose where you go and who you want to see for your care. If you want to see an OSMS doctor, you can ask for us when you’re in the emergency room or your primary care provider’s office.
We accept nearly all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid (to see a full list of insurances we accept, click here). It is extremely important to us that patients are able to see the doctors they want to, so we do our best to have relationships with all insurance providers. To confirm we’re in-network for you, call the number on the back of your insurance card or give our office a call at (920) 430-8113.
We have seven locations throughout northeast Wisconsin including: Green Bay, Neenah, Marinette, Oshkosh, Chilton, and Oconto Falls. Click here to learn more about our locations.
OSMS has multiple locations for our patients’ convenience. If you have a specific doctor that you’d like to see, go to our Doctors page and click on the doctor you’d like to see to find out at which location he or she is available. Otherwise, you may click on the clinic location you’d like to visit to see which doctors are available.

OSMS is doctor-owned and we can provide nearly every orthopedic and rheumatology service or procedure right here in our clinic. Having outpatient orthopedic surgery at the Orthopedic Surgery Center of Green Bay or the Orthopedic Surgery Center of the Fox Valley, our on-site surgery center, can result in up to 40% savings than the same procedure in a hospital. If having trigger finger or carpal tunnel release, using our procedure room can result in significant savings because there is no surgery center or hospital facility fee. If you require infusions for your rheumatic, dermatologic, GI, MS or asthmatic condition, using our outpatient infusion clinics in Green Bay, Neenah, or Marinette can result in as much as 50% savings over having your infusion at a hospital.
Because we don’t have to pay to use equipment, space or staff outside of our four walls, we can pass those savings onto our patients. Learn more by clicking here.
It’s easy! Just visit our “I’m Back” Page and let us know which OSMS doctor treated you and what size shirt you’d like!
